The Inn on the Lake's dining emphasizes Yukon cuisine using local ingredients such as Boreal berries and Sockeye salmon. Visiting chefs from around the world contribute cosmopolite notes during special events. Meals must be reserved in advance; the chef's menu changes daily and includes a 3-course meal served at 7 p.m. Breakfast is available from 8 a.m. to 10 a.m. for $19.50 per person, featuring a daily varying menu including breakfast burritos, scrambled eggs, omelettes, quiche, fruit, yoghurt, and toast, plus coffee and juice. Dinner is served at 7 p.m. for $49.95 per person, consisting of a 3-course meal. The facility is licensed, offering wines, Yukon beers, and spirits.

Inn on the Lake is near activities such as viewing the Aurora Borealis, ice fishing, and dog sledding. Guests can explore the Yukon Wildlife Preserve, located 80 km north, featuring Yukon species in their natural environment. Eclipse Nordic Hot Springs, 82 km north, offers steam rooms, saunas, and a relaxation centre. M'Clintock Bay, 10 minutes from the lodge, hosts returning swans and water birds in the spring. Inn on the Lake is on the shores of Marsh Lake, Yukon, at historic mile 883 on the Alaska Highway, 55 km south of Erik Nielsen Whitehorse International Airport and 35 minutes south of Whitehorse. It is surrounded by mountains and forests. Swan Haven Interpretive Centre is 0.5 km away. Shuttle service is available from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. daily. Air North provides service to Whitehorse from Vancouver, Calgary, Edmonton, Kelowna, Yellowknife, and Ottawa. A parade ends at Shipyards Park in Whitehorse on July 1st.

Inn on the Lake offers a Gold Fever & Aurora Tour. The Landsdowne meeting room hosts 46 seats. Weddings are reserved as exclusive events with a two-day minimum requirement on all rooms. Wedding packages include overnight guest rooms for two nights, a reception room, a choice of areas for the wedding ceremony, custom chairs, tables, linens, china, flatware, glassware, candle holders, candles, and stereo system access. Alcohol consumed in public areas must be purchased at the Inn. Solid footwear and appropriate clothing is recommended. The Presidential Suite and Fireweed Cottage are pet-friendly, with a pet fee applying. It is a non-smoking facility; smoking is permitted outdoors.
